Today is the National Day of Reflection for Survivors of Abuse in Care
Today is the National Day of Reflection for Survivors of Abuse in Care.
At Anglican Family Care, we recognise the significance of this day and the national apology delivered in Parliament last year to survivors of abuse in care. This moment represents an important step toward acknowledging past wrongs and supporting healing.
We are committed to building reconciliation and providing support to survivors of historical abuse in the care of Anglican Family Care, or Anglican Methodist Family Care before it.
This day honours survivors and remembers all who suffered harm, acknowledging both the pain and the courage of those who have spoken out. Together, we can work toward a future where safety, dignity, and trust are upheld for all.
