Social Worker - Home-Based Family Support / Caregiver Liaison

Kia ora

An excellent opportunity to join our team in Dunedin in a combined role supporting both our Home-Based Family Support (HBFS) and Caregiving & Respite Care services.

About our services

Anglican Family Care supports tamariki, rangatahi and whānau across Otago to be safe, strong, and connected. Our Home-Based Family Support services and Caregiving & Respite Care work alongside whānau who may be experiencing stress, change, or complex challenges.

Our Home-Based Family Support service involves working directly with whānau in their homes to support parenting, build confidence, and strengthen whānau wellbeing so tamariki can thrive.

Our Caregiving & Respite Care service focuses on recruiting, supporting, and working alongside caregivers and kin caregivers to provide safe and nurturing care for tamariki when additional support is needed.

Together, these services aim to strengthen whānau, uphold the wellbeing of tamariki, and support positive, sustainable change.
